The 2014 Sunset Trips are a great way to try sea kayaking before booking a longer trip. Our 2014 Sunset Trips last approximately 3 hours and they are ideal for families to get out on the water. Easy activity level.
Our Sea Kayak Halkidiki Sunset Trip takes in the atmosphere of the long summer evenings of Vourvourou in the best possible way. Experience the tranquility of the calm Vourvourou bay and different shades of orange and red take over the landscape as the sun sets behind the hills.
Relax and enjoy. There is little boat traffic at this hour. So we get the water to our ourselves. Be prepared to be out until the sun has set.

For 2014 season there are two Sunset Trips to choose from, lasting about 3 hours. On all our Sunset trips and depending on group ability we do on average 1–1,5 hours paddling and the rest on shore, available for swimming, snorkelling, eating and relaxing.
Sea Kayak Halkidiki Sunset trip #1
In our first Sunset sea kayak trip we begin from our strating point in Vourvourou beach and we paddle towards the Livari area on the West side of Vourvourou, where we have our first stop to strech our legs. Then we continue paddling on the South side of Diaporos island in the Koumaroudes bay. There we having our second stop in our beloved “Sunset” beach, where we have an outstanding view of the Sun setting in the horizon. Then, we paddle back towards Vourvourou ending another magical evening.
In total the distance travelled is about 6,45 Km (3,45 nautical miles). During the trip we make 2 stops in Livari beach and our “Sunset beach” of Diaporos island.
Sea Kayak Halkidiki Sunset trip #2
In our first Sunset sea kayak trip we begin from our strating point in Vourvourou beach and we paddle towards the South beaches of Diaporos island, where we have our first stop to strech our legs and swim in the crystal blue waters. Then we continue paddling all the South side of Diaporos island towards the Koumaroudes bay. there, we turn back and we having our second stop in our beloved “Sunset” beach, where we have an outstanding view of the Sun setting in the horizon. Then, we paddle back towards Vourvourou ending another magical evening.
In total the distance travelled is about 5,5 Km (2,93 nautical miles). During the trip we make 2 stops in one of the South beaches of Diaporos and then in our “Sunset beach” of Diaporos island.
